Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery

Unit Information

Join a dynamic and skilled team in our Labor & Delivery and Antepartum unit, featuring:

• 19 labor beds
• 5 OBED beds
• 3 PACU beds
• 3 Surgical beds
• 8 Antepartum beds
• 55 staff members

Shift Information

This position requires:

• Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Mandatory two weekend shifts per month
• Possibly four weekend shifts per month

Patient Ratios

• 2:1 for labor
• 3:1 for OBED
• 4:1 for Antepartum
• 1:1 in the OR

Essential Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess:

• Experience in OBED, circulating C-sections
• Ability to manage high-risk antepartum cases
• Labor experience
• Experience managing COVID-19 patients in Labor, C-Section, Antepartum, and OBED

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced family medicine experience

Typical Procedures Performed

• C-sections
• Cerclage placements
• BTL procedures
• D&C for postpartum hemorrhage only

Required Certifications

• Intermediate Family Medicine
• ACLS
• BLS
• NRP

Floating Areas

May require floating to the low-risk Antepartum unit as needed.

Dress Code

Royal blue scrubs are required; t-shirts are not permitted.
