Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

Unit Information

Our birth care unit is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for expectant mothers and their newborns.

• Number of Beds: 20
• Number of Staff: 50
• Patient Ratios: 3-4:1 for postpartum couplets, 1-2:1 for labor patients
• Types of Equipment: Welch Allen vitals machines, CPN monitors, POC Glucose monitoring, Monica Novii telemetry
• EMR System: Meditech / CPN

Hiring Profile

We are looking for dedicated and skilled individuals to join our team. The ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:

• Required:
  • Minimum 1-year current experience as an L&D RN
  • ACLS, BLS, NRP & AWHONN or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (IFM)
• Preferred:
  • Postpartum experience
  • High risk LDR experience

Typical Procedures

• C-sections and Inductions
• AROM, IUPC, DFM and Doppler
• Circulating C-Sections
