Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

This role is a variable shift position requiring 36 hours per week, operating on a rotating shift basis. The selected candidate will be expected to initially work the Day Shift while the internal transfer processes are completed. Following this transition, the position will move to the Night Shift to fill a vacancy created by internal transfers. Flexibility to work both shifts during this temporary period is essential.

Shift Details

• Day Shift: 0700 – 1930
• Night Shift: 1900 – 0730

Role Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will work within a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) model, providing high-quality patient care in the maternal and neonatal environment.

Qualifications

• Education:
  • Associate Degree (A.S.) in Nursing or equivalent: Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing: Preferred
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery: Required
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • Current RN license in the state of practice: Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per policy: Required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor per policy: Required
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from an approved vendor per policy: Required
  • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course: Required
• Additional Requirements: Experience with EPIC electronic health records: Required
