Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) care, with a minimum of two years of relevant experience. This position will initially involve working Day Shift while internal transfer processes are completed, followed by a transition to Night Shift to accommodate internal movements. Flexibility to work both shifts during the transition period is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting.
• Monitor and assess patients throughout the birthing process.
• Utilize Advanced Fetal Monitoring techniques for patient assessments.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Participate in continued education and training to maintain professional qualifications.
• Document patient care and maintain updated medical records using EPIC software.

Schedule

This position requires a commitment of 36 hours per week, with rotating shifts. The Night Shift hours will be from 1900 to 0730, and Day Shift hours from 0700 to 1930.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (A.S.) or equivalent: Required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing: Preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in Labor & Delivery: Required.
• Current RN license in the state of practice: Required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from an approved vendor: Required.
• Completion of an Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course: Required.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system: Required.
