Registered Nurse – Infusion (Nursing)

Position Overview

The Outpatient Infusion Unit is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in outpatient infusion to provide exceptional care to adult and geriatric patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong competencies in infusion therapy and related practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and other infusions to patients with common diagnoses including oncology, neuro, anemia, GI, and more.
• Manage patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety and quality of care.
• Administer blood products as required.
• Utilize technology such as EPIC, Omnicell, and Ascom for efficient patient management and documentation.
• Operate medical equipment including Alaris and elastomeric pumps effectively.

Qualifications

• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and Chemotherapy are required.
• A minimum of one year of experience in outpatient infusion is preferred.
• Experience in managing adult and geriatric patient populations.

Work Environment

This position is based in an outpatient infusion unit and requires the ability to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment. The nurse will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care while adapting to the needs of a busy clinical setting.
