Job Description:

Registered Nurse needed for the Intensive Care Unit in a mixed unit environment with specialties including MICU, SICU, CICU, TICU. The role requires managing complex ICU patients and involves working in a 39-bed unit divided into pods.

Responsibilities:

• Manage surgical, medical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma ICU patients.
• Administer IV medications such as vasopressors, sedation, and paralytics.
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring, proning, ventilator management, and telemetry.
• Collaborate effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Participate in a weekend rotation and adhere to holiday and on-call expectations as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience excluding travel, with additional RN experience considered.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC.
• Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) – South Dakota Board of Nursing.
• Comfortable working a 48hr/week contract and handling a variety of critical patient cases.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
