Job Description:

Registered Nurse with expertise in the Intensive Care Unit responsible for providing specialized care for critically ill patients with a focus on neuro and stroke care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including assessments and interventions for critically ill patients.
• Utilize EPIC Charting system to document patient care accurately.
• Monitor and adjust life support equipment and treatment protocols.
• Communicate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure patient care coordination.
• Flexibility to float to other units and facilities as needed.

Requirements:

• Active IL License, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certification.
• Minimum of 2+ years strong ICU experience with emphasis on Neuro and Stroke.
• Passed EKG test with a score of 80% or higher.
• Willingness to work every other weekend.
• Completed resume, skills checklist, and reference all within the last 12 months.
