Job Title: Registered Nurse – ICU

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the ICU will provide care to complex ICU patients, including those with surgical, medical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma diagnoses. Strong critical thinking and teamwork skills are required in this fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for ICU patients with a range of medical conditions
• Manage hemodynamic lines, ventilators, and IV medications
• Collaborate with intensivists, physicians, and support staff
• Participate in hospital and unit orientation sessions

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience excluding travel experiences
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications (TNCC required prior to arrival)
• Licensed RN by the South Dakota Board of Nursing
• Experience with Epic charting system and comfort with 48-hour contracts
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to unit needs
