Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the ICU will provide care for complex ICU patients, including those with surgical, medical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma conditions within a mixed unit setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide intensive care to surgical, medical, cardiac, and trauma patients.
• Maintain strong critical thinking and assessment skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage IV medications, hemodynamic lines, and ventilator settings.

Requirements:

• 2 years of ICU experience excluding travel experience (1.5 years ICU experience with significant RN experience may be considered).
• Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing; must be a Registered Nurse (RN) – South Dakota Board of Nursing.
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC.
• Experience with Epic charting system and comfortability working a 48hr/week contract.
• Travelers must live 100 miles away from any Monument Health facility.
