Job Description:

This position is for an experienced ICU RN to float within Zone 3, around the Denver City Center, providing care in various ICU settings including MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU. Candidates must be comfortable with titrating critical drips and interpreting telemetry without monitor tech support.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in ICU environments according to acuity, potentially flexing patient ratios based on needs.
• Float to various facilities within a 60-mile zone including OrthoColorado Hospital, Longmont United Hospital, and others.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including respiratory therapists and hospitalists/intensivists as needed.

Requirements:

• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience; if first-time traveler, 3+ years ICU experience and EPIC proficiency required.
• Ability to float amongst ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and MS-Tele units within the designated zone.
