Job Description:

The RN in the MICU is responsible for providing critical care to patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Med City Dallas. The role involves utilizing all ICU equipment and performing various bedside procedures, ensuring comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Manage assignments based on patient acuity and skills.
• Utilize ICU equipment such as ventilators, NXStage, and Arctic Sun.
• Documentation using Meditech.
• Perform central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, intubations, and other ICU procedures.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of MICU/MSICU experience.
• Active RN TX license (temporary licenses not accepted).
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• CCRN preferred.
