Job Description:

Registered ICU nurse needed for a mixed unit in Rapid City, SD with a focus on providing care to complex ICU patients including surgical, medical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma cases.

Responsibilities:

• Care for ICU patients with diagnoses such as ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, and more
• Work with a patient ratio of RN: 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 depending on acuity
• Utilize Epic, Alaris/Baxter, and Omnicell systems

Requirements:

• 2 years of ICU experience, travel experience not included
• Completion of a board-approved nursing education program
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC
• Experience with Epic and critical care skills such as ventilator management
• Willingness to work 48-hour week contracts
