Job Description:

Carlsbad Medical Center is seeking a Travel ICU RN to provide total care for ICU patients, including ventilators, titratable drips, and hygiene care. Floating to ER and Med Surg departments is required, and applicants must have the flexibility to accommodate holiday schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Care for ICU patients, including managing ventilators and titratable drips.
• Float to ER to assist with various duties without patient assignments.
• Float to Med Surg for full patient assignments or assist as an aide.
• Maintain accurate records in float log.

Requirements:

• 2+ years ICU experience required.
• Experience in ER and Med Surg required.
• BLS, ACLS certification required; TNCC preferred.
• Experience with vents, titratable drips, mixing medications, and patient hygiene preferred.
• Fingerprinting required for all NM travelers.
• Agency must be registered with the state of New Mexico.
