Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our Trauma Intensive Care Unit. This role involves providing critical care to adult and pediatric patients over 15 years old with various trauma injuries and medical conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients with trauma injuries, sepsis, stroke, ARDS, MODS, COPD, and cardiac arrest.
• Titrate vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics as needed.
• Operate and manage advanced monitoring and respiratory equipment, including ventilators and Draeger heart monitoring systems.

Requirements:

• Active RN license with experience in ICU settings.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Must pass an open book exam during orientation with a score of 90% or higher.
• Driver’s license required for submission.
• Compliance with fingernail policy and other unit-specific guidelines.
• Ability or willingness to interpret telemetry strips.
