Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) will provide direct patient care, utilizing specialized knowledge gained through education and specific experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Titration of Vesicant Meds
  • Familiarity with Pressors, Sedation, and Paralytics
  • Experience with Vents and Trachs
  • Telemetry interpretation
  • Understanding of Hemodynamics and PA Catheter setup and interpretation
  • Transvenous pacing and Cardioversion

Requirements:

  • Experience with ICU patient care
  • Ability to perform procedures such as central line insertion, bronchoscopy, and chest tube insertions
