ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for providing high-quality patient care in a critical care environment.

Position Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights (7 PM – 7 AM), every other weekend required

Responsibilities

The ICU Registered Nurse will be responsible for the following:

• Providing comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitoring vital signs and patient conditions.
• Utilizing advanced medical equipment, including ventilators and vasoactive drips.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Alabama or Multistate nursing license (no prior NURSYS hits).
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting.
• Experience with ventilated patients and vasoactive drips is essential.
• Cerner experience is preferred.
• Must live 50+ miles from the facility.

Additional Information

Applicants should be prepared to potentially float to other units as needed. The facility has multiple beds available for patient care.
