Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This fast-paced unit encompasses 30 beds and serves a diverse patient population with complex medical conditions.

Unit Information

The Medical ICU serves patients with a variety of critical conditions, including:

• Sepsis
• Heart Failure
• Hypertensive Emergencies
• Respiratory Failure
• Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
• Chronic Kidney Disease
• Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (TDM2)
• Alcohol Use and Abuse
• Substance Abuse
• Status Epilepticus
• Encephalopathy

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting
• Proficient in managing patients on ventilators and intravenous drips
• Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) is required

Key Responsibilities

As a member of our ICU team, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, utilizing your clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, and implement effective treatment plans. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes is essential.
