Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and leadership qualities, as responsibilities will include supervising nursing staff and providing direct patient care in high-pressure situations.

Shift

7 PM – 7 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise nursing staff in the Intensive Care Unit.
• Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with established protocols.
• Assist in clinical areas as needed, demonstrating proficiency in nursing practices.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to enhance patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Active Nursing License in New York State is required.
• Must possess certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Experience in Step-Down Units (SCU) and Emergency Departments (ED) is preferred.
• Proven charge nurse or supervisory experience is mandatory.
• Strong leadership and effective communication skills.
