ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 13-week contract. This position is essential in providing high-quality care to critically ill patients in an intensive care unit setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, recording vital signs and other relevant data.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Utilize advanced technology and equipment related to critical care.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and protocols.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license in the state of practice.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred.

Shift Details

• Night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, including rotating weekends.

Location

Applicants must reside more than 50 miles from the facility located in the River Region.
