ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a night shift schedule. The ideal candidate will work in a critical care capacity, providing high-quality care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and fluid levels.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan and implement patient care strategies.
• Float between High-Volume Unit (HVU) and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure.
• BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting.
• Strong critical care skills and knowledge.

Additional Information

The facility utilizes an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, currently MedHost and transitioning to Cerner. Scrubs must be of any solid color. The unit consists of 24 beds plus 2 in recovery, with patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2.
