Registered Nurse (RN) – MICU

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). The RN will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating clinical expertise and compassion in all patient interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to critically ill patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Monitor vital signs and manage patient medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an ICU or similar critical care setting.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Work Hours

This position requires the flexibility to work night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
