ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment with varying patient acuity levels. This role involves working in a 28-bed Inpatient Observation Unit and may include floating to other areas as required based on competency.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Inpatient Observation Unit.
• Assess patient conditions and manage care for individuals with low to high acuity.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment.
• Participate in emergency response and patient stabilization procedures.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar specialty within an acute care setting.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• TNCC certification is preferred.
