Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the ICU is responsible for providing care to complex ICU patients, including surgical, medical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma cases. The role requires managing patient diagnoses such as ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, COVID, post-surgical conditions, and multiple system traumas.

Responsibilities:

• Care for complex ICU patients with a range of diagnoses
• Administer IV medications and manage hemodynamic lines
• Work collaboratively in a team setting to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training as required

Requirements:

• 2 years of ICU experience excluding travel experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
• Willingness to work a 48-hour/week contract
