Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a Gastrointestinal (GI) Lab position. The ideal candidate will have documented recovery experience and a strong background in post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), telemetry, and procedural nursing.

Orientation Schedule

Orientation will be held during the day shift, with the first day of training on a Monday. The orientation includes:

• EKG Test
• Training modules
• Epic system test out (approximately 6-8 hours)

This includes 16 hours of non-billable orientation.

Work Schedule

The position requires varying start times between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM, with a commitment of approximately 36-40 hours per week.

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
• Preferred experience includes travel or per diem nursing
• Responsibilities include admitting patients, recovering patients in Phase II, and assisting in the procedure room as needed.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Illinois RN license
• CPR certification
• ACLS certification

Additional Information

Floating to other locations may be required, including various GI labs within the region. There are no weekend or holiday requirements for this position.
