Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our GI Lab team. The ideal candidate will possess documented recovery experience and be skilled in admitting and recovering patients in Phase II care. This role may also involve participation in the procedure room as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Admit patients and conduct pre-procedure assessments.
• Provide compassionate care and monitor patients during recovery.
• Assist in procedures as required and ensure patient safety throughout.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably with travel or PRN experience.
• Current Illinois RN license.
• Current certifications in CPR and ACLS.
• Successful completion of EKG test with a score of 80% or above.
• Experience in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Schedule and Orientation

This position requires flexibility, with varying start times between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM. The orientation schedule will be conducted during the day shift, which includes approximately 6-8 hours of EKG testing, modules, and Epic system training.

Additional Information

The position is full-time, with expected weekly hours between 36-40. The role may require some floating between multiple locations within the region as needed.
