Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care for patients in an acute care setting according to established standards of care and the nursing process. The ideal candidate will supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, coordinate care with other healthcare disciplines, and utilize critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in their practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide coordinated nursing care for assigned patients, adhering to established standards of care.
• Supervise and direct nursing staff, ensuring effective communication and teamwork in patient care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare disciplines to enhance patient outcomes and streamline care protocols.
• Utilize critical thinking and independent judgment to assess patient needs and implement care plans.

Requirements

• Night shift availability (36 or 48 hours per week).
• EPIC experience is required.
• Willingness to work at least one holiday, with the possibility of one holiday off.

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Experience in an acute care facility is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• Must hold a Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
• AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification is required.
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification is required.
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification is required.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification is required.
