Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse delivers coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned groups of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process. This role requires the supervision and direction of various levels of assigned nursing staff, as well as the coordination of care with other healthcare disciplines. Effective use of critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment is essential in this position.

Requirements

• Night shift: 36 or 48 hours per week.
• EPIC experience is required.
• Willingness to approve one holiday off; however, the traveler must be open to working the other holiday.

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Acute care facility experience is preferred.

Licenses/Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
• AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification is required.
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification is required.
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification is required.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification is required.
