Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients following established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinates patient care with other disciplines while employing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment.

Shift Requirements

Day Shift – 36 or 48 hours per week. Must be willing to work holidays, with the option to take one holiday off.

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred

Licenses/Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS: Required
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification: Required
