Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. The RN supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.

Requirements

• Day Shift – 36’s or 48’s
• EPIC experience is REQUIRED
• Willingness to approve 1 holiday off, but the traveler must be available to work the other holiday

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Acute care facility experience: Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• Facility Specific License/Certifications:
  • AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required
  • AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required
  • AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS: Required
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale: Required
