Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. The successful candidate will supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, while coordinating care with other disciplines. This role requires the utilization of critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with established nursing standards.
• Supervise and direct the activities of nursing staff.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals.
• Utilize critical thinking and independent judgment in patient care decisions.

Schedule

Available shifts include Day Shift options with 36 or 48 hours per week. The candidate must be willing to work holidays, with one holiday off being considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Previous experience in an acute care facility is preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
• AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification is required.
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification is required.
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification is required.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification is required.
