Job Description:

The role entails providing comprehensive emergency care within a trauma level 1 setting. The RN will float between designated facilities and is required to complete specialized training and adhere to facility protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency care in a fast-paced trauma environment.
• Maintain sterile field protocol during procedures.
• Complete SIMs Lab training as specified.
• Float between different ERs including main and freestanding units.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, including weekend shift requirements, and respond to varying patient loads effectively.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of trauma level 1 experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Must pass DYS exam prior to acceptance.
• Ability to read strips from Phillips monitors.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as unit needs dictate.
• BSN required; license to submit.
