Job Description:

The Travel RN in the Emergency Room will provide patient care and perform assessments, prioritization, and intervention in both high acuity and low resource settings within the Brownsville FSED.

Responsibilities:

• Phlebotomy
• ED nursing care across all TRIAGE levels
• Airway management / Intubation support
• Splinting / immobilization
• Moderate sedation monitoring and recovery
• Wound care / laceration repair assistance
• Cardiac monitoring, code response and resuscitation support

Requirements:

• Strong ED clinical judgment and critical thinking
• Ability to work independently and within a small high functioning team
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications
