Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room (ER) provides direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. The role requires high-level decision-making and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency care to patients in a 4-bed and 2-trauma bay facility
• Manage ER holds intermixed with the ER
• Work collaboratively with an ED physician and charge nurse

Requirements:

• 2 years ER experience and previous Medsurg experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications
• Read their own telemetry strips using Mindray monitors
