Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As a critical member of our healthcare staff, you will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 28
• Staffing Levels: 18 staff members per 24 hours
• Patient Ratio: 1:4

Shifts

This position involves working night shifts, specifically from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Staff Composition

• Day Shift: CNC, 3 RNs, Unit Clerk, Greeter
• Mid Shift: 3 RNs, 2 PCTs
• Night Shift: CNC, 3 RNs, Unit Clerk, Greeter

Types of Equipment Used

• GE monitors
• Lifepaks
• Baxter IV pumps
• Ranger rapid infuser
• Ranger blood warmer

Certifications Required

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification

Facility Credentials

• Level 3 Trauma Center
• Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI
• Stroke Certified

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess at least two years of experience in emergency nursing, demonstrating clinical expertise and a commitment to high standards of patient care.
