Minimum Requirements

• Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year
• Active WI RN Licensure
• Flu vaccination
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and either TNCC or TNS

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical expertise and a commitment to providing high-quality care to our patients. The individual will collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and utilize the nursing process to meet patient needs effectively.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process in collaboration with the healthcare team to provide patient-centered care.
• Administer medications and treatments as per approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, and state laws.
• Document patient care in accordance with established standards.
• Perform assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and shared governance within the department.
• Provide clinical expertise to support patient longitudinal care plans across departments.
• Employ critical thinking skills related to patient safety and experience, escalating concerns as needed.
• Engage in professional nursing activities, unit practices, and peer review processes.
