Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking qualified Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team. The unit is a nationally accredited Primary Stroke Center, and a crucial element of our healthcare services.

Emergency Room Statistics

During the last fiscal year, the Emergency Room experienced a total of 24,872 visits, indicating a high volume of patient care and requiring efficient and skilled staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to patients in emergency situations.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) system for documentation and patient management.
• Participate in ongoing education and training, including obtaining PALS certification.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures, including supply management.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license and applicable certifications.
• Proficient in the use of Meditech EMR.
• Current PALS certification is required for this role.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency care environment.
