Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Bakersfield, CA

Shift Availability

• Day Shift – 36 or 48 hours

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Experience: Acute care facility experience preferred
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification: Required

Essential Functions

• Collect and analyze relevant data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation to determine diagnosis and care issues.
• Develop and implement a care plan that prescribes interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
• Coordinate care delivery and employ strategies that promote health and ensure a safe environment.
• Evaluate patient progress toward attaining health outcomes.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in the delivery of care in a supportive environment.
• Provide learning opportunities for patients and family members, as well as team members.
• Directly deliver health information to patients, families, and the treatment team.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and coordinate duties of healthcare team members.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
