Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in accordance with established standards and practices.
• Conduct assessments and monitor patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan and evaluate patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.
• Participate in emergency response and support for critically ill patients.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience: Experience in an acute care facility preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice – Required.
  • CPR certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor – Required.
  • AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification – Required.
  • AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification – Required.
  • AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification – Required.
  • Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or TEAM-A or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) – Required.
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification – Required.

Work Schedule

This position involves night shifts of either 36 or 48 hours per week. Please note that holiday requests for time off will not be approved.
