Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department (ED) that manages over 100,000 visits each year. As one of the busiest trauma centers in the country and the only Level I trauma hospital in the area, our facility is committed to providing exceptional care to a diverse patient population.

Job Duties

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assess and document patient needs and outcomes.
• Collaborate with medical staff to formulate and implement treatment plans.
• Assist with boarder patients during busy shifts.

Requirements

• Active RN License in New York (NY ONLY).
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in Emergency Department nursing.
• Experience in telemetry is required.
• Previous travel ER experience is mandatory.

Certifications

• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• NIHSS certification

Work Schedule

This position involves rotating shifts and may include floating, weekends, and holidays. The role is 48 hours per week, with no on-call requirements.
