Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department

Position Overview

This is a 13-week contract position for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Emergency Department. The role requires the nurse to work a rotating schedule, primarily on weekends, with 36 hours per week of service required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and optimize outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and records.
• Assist with any emergency procedures as necessary.

Schedule Details

• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: Day/Night rotating
• Weekend Requirement: Every weekend (Friday to Sunday)
• Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work on Christmas

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience.
• Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact license.
• Current CPR certification (AHA only).
• ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Not accepting new graduates for this position.
