Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

This travel opportunity is for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) in a Fast Emergency Services Department (FSED) setting. The position offers a night shift schedule from 6 PM to 6 AM over a duration of 6 weeks.

The position is located in Copperfield, TX.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients and develop appropriate care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress and responses to interventions.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness strategies.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant nursing role, preferably in an emergency department or similar setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
