Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge and skills necessary for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Contract Details

• Contract Length: 8-12 weeks, with the possibility of extension
• Orientation Schedule: 2-3 shifts (24-36 hours), non-billable orientation of 12-16 hours

Scheduling Information

• Shifts: 12-hour night shifts, 7 PM – 7 AM
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours/week
• Weekend Requirements: Every 3rd weekend (Friday and Saturday nights)
• Holiday Requirements: Required to work holidays

Experience Requirements

• Minimum Experience: 2+ years in Emergency Room nursing
• Preferred Experience: 5+ years in Emergency Room nursing

Licensure and Certifications

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
• Experience with Epic electronic health records system
