Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our emergency room team. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to deliver compassionate and efficient nursing care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency room, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Perform emergency procedures as necessary and assist in life-saving techniques.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments accurately.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness strategies.

Schedule Details

This position requires 12-hour evening shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a rotating weekend schedule. Orientation includes two non-billable 12-hour shifts.

Experience Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an emergency room setting.
• Preferred experience of 4+ years in a similar role.

Licenses and Certifications Required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) Certification
• Epic experience

Additional Information

This position may require working on holidays, with a minimum of three holiday shifts scheduled between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day.
