Nights: 7 PM – 7 AM

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience required.
• At least 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department setting.
• 1 year of previous critical care nursing experience preferred.

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a crucial member of the patient care team, responsible for both direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process across all areas of the unit. Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing patients upon admission and throughout their stay.
• Administering IV medications, therapies, and blood as necessary.
• Providing patient education regarding health and treatment plans.
• Documenting nursing care actions, observations, and patient responses thoroughly.

Additional Qualifications

• Candidates must be willing and able to take on charge nurse and preceptor roles as needed.
• Travelers with actions on their license or background will not be accepted.
