Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Room setting.
• Participate in on-floor training after initial orientation.
• Administer treatments as per physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist with emergency procedures and maintain a high level of quality in care.
• Be available for weekend shifts and assist with holiday scheduling as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience required; preference given to candidates with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience in a large healthcare facility is preferred.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Kansas or Compact License.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC must be in hand prior to start date.
• New graduates will not be considered for this position.

Additional Information

Schedule will involve night shifts with no block booking, and it is important to be flexible for occasional floating requirements, although this is rare.

Creds due by Wednesday prior to the start of the workweek.

Payroll to be submitted via a mobile app after clocking in at the facility.
