Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care and support to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Information

This position offers night shifts, with options for either 3 twelve-hour shifts or 4 twelve-hour shifts, from 1900 to 0730.

Location

Candidates may be required to float to multiple locations within the region as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an acute care setting.
• Conduct assessments, develop nursing care plans, and monitor patient progress.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree (A.S.) in Nursing is required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Minimum of one year of acute care experience is required.
• Current RN license in the state of practice is required.
• Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) are required. TNCC must be obtained within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• Recent experience with EPIC electronic health record system is required.

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor.
