Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients in a fast-paced environment.

Unit Information

Location: Frankfort, KY

• Number of beds: 28
• Number of staff: 18 per 24 hours
• Patient Ratio: 1:4

Staffing Structure

• Day Shift: CNC, 3 RNs, Unit Clerk, Greeter
• Mid Shift: 3 RNs, 2 PCTs
• Night Shift: CNC, 3 RNs, Unit Clerk, Greeter

Equipment Used

• GE monitors
• Lifepaks
• Baxter IV pumps
• Ranger rapid infuser
• Ranger blood warmer

CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification

Additional Information

• Level 3 Trauma Center
• Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI
• Stroke Certified

Experience Requirement

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is preferred.
