Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position in Arlington Heights, IL. This role requires a commitment to full-time weekend shifts and provides an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency situations swiftly and effectively.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care.
• Utilize Epic system for patient data management.
• Participate in orientation and education sessions.
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Room nursing; 4+ years preferred.
• Current Illinois RN license.
• Certification in CPR, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC or TNS.
• Ability to work all weekends and some holidays.
• Epic experience is mandatory.

Contract Details

This contract position is expected to last between 8 to 12 weeks, with potential extension through the end of the year. Orientation will include 20 hours of training, of which 10 hours are non-billable.
