Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room

General Information

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-volume emergency setting and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.

Unit Specifics

  • Number of Beds: 101
  • Patient Ratios: 4:1 typically; up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds
  • Unit Staffing: Technicians, Unit Clerks available for support
  • Type of Equipment: Baxter pumps, GE monitors
  • Documentation System: Cerner
  • Floating Policy: Must be open to floating within the Emergency Department, but not outside of it.

Scheduling Requirements

Team members are expected to work every other weekend. There will be no accommodation for special scheduling requests, and shifts will be aligned with department needs.

Qualifications

  • Must have at least 2 years of nursing experience, with a minimum of 1 year in an Emergency Room setting.
  • Teamwork mentality with the ability to provide real-time feedback and coaching.
  • Flexibility to work across all areas of the Emergency Department.

Required Certifications

  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • TNCC
  • CPI (to be completed before hire)
  • NIHSS
  • ENPC
