Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a contract position. The ideal candidate will bring expertise and compassion to the emergency department, providing high-quality care to patients in need.

Location

This position is located in City, State.

Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift Details

The scheduled shifts are 12 PM to 12 AM.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to emergency department patients.
• Perform assessments and develop nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document patient progress, responding promptly to changes in condition.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse licensure.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in an emergency department setting.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
